Text to Self - The Third Twin

     I'm reading The Third Twin by Cj Omololu. This book is about two girls who are twins who made up a fake sister. Although they dress up as this fake sister name Alicia to go out with boys they would never go out with. Then "Alicia" goes on a date with a boy but then turns out super bad and almost gets kidnapped by the boy. She gets out though but the next day the boy sits down next to the girl who went on the date with him Ava, and she tries to act so different around him so he doesn't fine out that made another fake twin. Next is that the boy "Alicia" was with was dead the next morning where Alicia and the boy were right when she left. After that Lexi has been waiting for an email to get into the college Stanford University, but then the email comes and she doesn't get in. Lexi was so depressed and felt like she failed in life and everyone else had something going for them but she felt like she didn't.

     These characters remind me of me and my brother because when something happens when someone else is over we both blame it on each other so they don't find out who actually did it. There was this one time when we did this because when there was a hole in the wall after my friend left we both blamed it on him. Although it was actually us who put the hole in the wall and not our friend. After that though they found out it was actually us who put the whole in the wall.That is what connects to me when I was reading the book.
