Text to Self Paint the Wind
I am reading Paint the Wind by Pam Munoz Ryan. This story is about a girl and her parents died so she has to live with her rich grandmother. Sadly her grandmother has a stroke one day and passes away, so she is forced to go live with her mothers side of the family (aka her other grandparents). Her grandmother hated horses and was very rude and mean so she was kinda glad to go live with others but she was still paranoid because of all the punishments she got with her other grandmother. Her mothers side of the family loves horses and even lives on a ranch by the Rocky mountains. Then I read she just woke up and is getting ready to go eat and that's all I've read so far in the book.This character reminds me of my mom as a little girl because one side of her family hates horses and doesn't want anything to do with them. The character also reminds me of me because one side of my family hates horses and the other loves them and also im kinda stuck and confused like the main char...
