Text to Self Ellie's Story

I am reading the book Ellie's Story by W. Bruce Cameron. Usually I do not read books because I am  not interested in them, but this book caught my eye and I find it very interesting. In this book you see through the eyes of a German Shepard and what being a police dog really means. However this is not  the Silly Puppy Adventures you may think this is, It is realistic and based off of real things a K-9 would do.Throughout the story Ellie works with Jakob who is an adult male police officer. Sadly they are not together the whole time in the book, Ellie gets a new owner but why would the perfect partners split up? Who does Ellie go to and is she still a police dog? Don't ask me ask the book by reading it!

In this book there are about eight-teen chapters, the book is also A Dogs Purpose Novel. If you have ever seen the movie, ''A Dogs Purpose'' you may know or remember the scene with Ellie. Well in Ellie's scene it is at least half an hour and gives little detail, but in the book it gives all the detail and trust me read the book, and then watch the movie. In my opinion I would give this book a 9.9/10 because the book just gives so much good detail and gives me real-life connections. What are you waiting for? Grab the book and read a chapter... or maybe two if you start to like it.

  1. I would not read this book because if I watch a movie or read a book about a dog I might cry but other than that your blog is very well put together.
