Text to World: Murder at Midnight

I am reading the book, Murder at Midnight, by Avi. So far, this book is set in Pergamontio, Italy, 1490. There is an orphan named Fabrizio, and he is sent to a magician, named Mangus, and his wife, Sophia. For Mangus to approve of Fabrizio being their kid, he must make Mangus and Sophia proud of him, buy doing lots of chores. Sophia really likes Fabrizio,  but they both know that Mangus isn't the most impressed, so Fabrizio has to keep working hard. As a living, Mangus, performs magic tricks to the public, and asks for money, but doesn't require them to pay, he just  asks nicely for people to donate for him to survive. Even though his magic isn't real, Fabrizio still thinks it is, and wants to learn how to do it. King Claudio (king of Pergamontio) doesn't like magic, and anyone who preforms it in his kingdom, or learns, will be executed, and stopped. Someone unknown has written something to overthrow the king. DeLaBina, (basically the person that gives justice) works with the king, and shows Mangus, and DeLaBina believes that Mangus is helping someone make multiple copies of the writing with his magic.
In the articles, North Koreans Need U.S. Help to Overthrow Kim Jong Un, Defector , and The PEOPLE’S CHALLENGES, talks about how North Koreans don't want Kim Jong Un, the king/ruler of North Korea, to stay longer. They want the U.S.'s help, to take him down. Kim Jong Un, has lots of power, to where if you do something he doesn't like, he can do practically whatever he likes. Making people do the things he wants, not everyone likes, how they don't have any freedom. Lots of North Koreans have been trying to escape. If they succeed, then they have more freedom, but if caught, or captured, the consequences, are up to Kim. These articles and Murder at Midnight, are alike, because they both have to do with overthrowing a king. Obviously they aren't in the same place, since one's in North Korea (present), the other is in Italy (1490). In North Korea no one wants to be a suspect of anything, especially taking Kim down. Same with in Italy with Mangus, being a suspect. Magus is a suspect because of his magic, and if he doesn't tell who wrote overthrowing the king, and some other stuff, then his life will be taken away by the king.
In the story, I wonder if Fabrizio, will stay with Mangus. If Fabrizio was an orphan, who abandoned him/who was his parents, and why did they? I really like Fabrizio's enthusiasm/happiness, but right now, he's not very happy with what's happening with Mangus. I don't like DeLaBina, mostly because of how he acts, thinking that Mangus's magic is real. Though, at the same time he is kind of reasonable, with his punishment and what he needs Mangus to do so he can live. If I was Fabrizio, I would be scared, and speechless, for having Mangus getting prosecuted. I like how the author tends to put it in third person, telling what Fabrizio thinks, making the book feel like a mystery. I noticed that Fabrizio wants to learn magic, and if he does, even though the king doesn't like it I wonder how that would work. Lastly, I can't believe, that peopel think that Mangus's magic is real. As much as you can be fasinated, you should know that magic isn't real, but to DeLaBina thinks differently.
