Text To World - The Lighting Thief

A troublemaker as a superhero and defying monster there is not to many of those but Percy Jackson is. The lightning Thief, by Rick Riordan this a story about 13 year old boy who is a troublemaker and goes to a special school because of it. when he starts to get older than more and more he find out that he is son of the Greek god Poseidon.
Percy having an abusive dad to a real world situation because there are parents that are abusive to their children like him.  There are people in life that abuse to their children and make them live in terribly.  Like Percy when his dad made him sleep in a room that he put spilled alcohol everywhere in it.  In the real world some parents also verbally abuse their children, like telling them they will never be successful or they are stupid.

I began to think that someone can be abusive to their child. I feel really sorry for whoever has to go through it. I love the way on how percy sticks up for himself. He fights his bullies like his monsters. I can't believe that his teacher was a monster. She tried to attack him at a field trip.

Text to Self- The Maze Runner

           I am reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This book's genre is post-apocalyptic. This book is about a teen named Thomas who came to this mysterious place called the Glades. He does not know where and why he is there. Thomas does not also know anything about his life anymore; he is completely clueless. Now that Thomas has been at the Glades for a while, he now knows there is a large maze with bad things inside. Thomas is not allowed to go inside the maze. However, Thomas said he wants to participate in being a runner.            The character Thomas reminds me of one of my friends because she is very outgoing.           I am reading  The Maze Runner by James Dashner.  This story is about a boy named Thomas who was brainwashed and taken to a place called the Glades. Thomas was very curious on running in the maze inside the Glades. When he had the chance, Thomas went into the maze and became a runner. Thomas is starting to put together clues and messages he has found to why he went to the glades in the first place. He is now trying to decode a message that has been created, so he can stop the danger. Thomas and the other runners need to defeat the grievers, and what is happening to their world.           The scene where the ferocious creatures (grievers) come and are trying to break their way into the map room, reminds me of the book The Hunger Games .
