Text To Text~Disney After Dark

     I am reading the book Disney After Dark by Ridley Pearson. This book is about five teenagers who get jobs as DHI, which means Disney Host Interactions, and Daylight Hologram Imaging. It seems like a normal job until at night, Finn has a dream where he is in the Magic Kingdom, and he meets this old Imagineer. The Imagineer tells Finn that the Magic Kingdom is in danger of the Overtakers, and only Finn and the other DHI can stop them. Eventually, the DHI's all come to the park at night, and they find out the truth and secrets of Walt Disney World. Soon, they will have to go look for clues around the park to find a way to destroy the Overtakers.

      The book series Percy Jackson kind of reminds me of Disney After Dark. Finn has to get a big group of other teens to destroy an evil, and Percy has to destroy an evil with a group of teens. They are also both in fantasy genre books, with magical places. In one of the parts in Disney After Dark, Finn fights some animatronic pirates, and it reminds of a part in Percy Jackson where Percy had to fight a monster before he could get to camp. Percy gains a horn from the monster, but Finn gets a laser burn.

      A thing I don't understand in my story is that when the kids cross over they are part human and part DHI. So, anything that happens to them while they are 'asleep' happens to them in real life. Also, I don't really like this girl names Jez. She is trying to sidetrack the DHI's from their mission, because her mother is an Overtaker.

Text to Self- The Maze Runner

           I am reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This book's genre is post-apocalyptic. This book is about a teen named Thomas who came to this mysterious place called the Glades. He does not know where and why he is there. Thomas does not also know anything about his life anymore; he is completely clueless. Now that Thomas has been at the Glades for a while, he now knows there is a large maze with bad things inside. Thomas is not allowed to go inside the maze. However, Thomas said he wants to participate in being a runner.            The character Thomas reminds me of one of my friends because she is very outgoing. Text to Text- The Maze Runner

          I am reading  The Maze Runner by James Dashner.  This story is about a boy named Thomas who was brainwashed and taken to a place called the Glades. Thomas was very curious on running in the maze inside the Glades. When he had the chance, Thomas went into the maze and became a runner. Thomas is starting to put together clues and messages he has found to why he went to the glades in the first place. He is now trying to decode a message that has been created, so he can stop the danger.
