Text to Text-Until Friday Night

Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines. This book is about a girl (Maggie) that had a problem with her past life, she felt guilty of what happened, so she started to close her self from the world and not talk to anyone. After she had been in a house that would help her not go crazy, she moved back to her home town and lived with her Uncle and her Aunt. She hadn't been to a public school in awhile, after her first day at school everyone started to make fun of her because she didn't talk to anyone. The following days she had gone to school and got help from her cousin (Brady), all the boys at the school started to catch their eyes, one guy (West) started to try and get her to talk, and it worked (she only talked to him because he was making her mad). West had problem's of his own, his dad had cancer and was dying. At first West just wanted to be friends with Maggie, but then he started to grow on to her. He had always wanted her there with him. At the end he had calmed he his "girlfriend" and Maggie started to talk to people now and she had liked her world now that West had came into it, and West liked his world now.
The character reminds me of someone I know because one of my friend had been silent and didn't talk to anyone because she didn't know anyone but me in the school. She had been very attached to me because she thought that people were going to make fun of her and do things to her. After awhile she started to be more open to people but not talk to them, she had got asked a lot of questions, but never let anyone talk to her. She had liked this guy and she would always talk about him when she was alone. She had started to talk to her crush and she had been very attached to him. Then, she had started t talk to everyone because her crush had encouraged her to open up and let people get t know her and who she really is. Now she is one of the most confident person that I know.
I love the way that the book had been formatted and how it laid out. I also like the book because it has two different perspectives, and it makes the book more interesting. The book also pulls in the reader because of how much detail in the book.
