Text to Text: The Titan's Curse

     I am reading the book The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan.  This book is the third book of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians. So far this book is about Percy Jackson, Annabeth, and Thalia going to get some half-bloods, because the camp is loosing a lot of half-bloods, and they need to get more of them.  They find two half bloods, Nico, and Bianca, which are both brother and sister. Later, they meet Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, and has her own lady hunters. Annabeth is gone, due to a monster they were fighting. Zoe, that is a hunter, and is part of the hunt, with Artemis. Artemis realizes a there is a monster (she doesn't reveal who) and goes to take it down, and take it to Mount Olympus to show that there's a problem. Later, everyone see's the Oracle (the thing that give prophecies) and told one, Zoe wants to go on a quest to fulfill the prophecy.
     A book that's similar to The Titan's Curse is The Outsiders. Percy Jackson (The Titan's Curse) and some of the Greasers (The Outsiders) have no family. Percy Jackson can't live with his father, because he's a god, and he's to busy. Some of the Greasers like Ponyboy and his brothers, have no parents and have to stick together to survive. Some half-bloods, like Bianca and Nico, have no family except themselves, and also have to stick together to survive. At the same time, the whole camp half-blood and the whole Greaser gang has to stick together to survive, and live their life. Lastly Ponyboy and Percy Jackson, are both heroic and trying to save everyone. Ponyboy tried to save kids from a burning church. Percy Jackson tries to keep a war happening or something worse happening between the gods and the titans.
     While reading The Titan's Curse I had a few comments on it. I liked how it just started right away with nothing really too boring. I wonder what would happen if Annabeth would be gone. I feel that Percy Jackson would be sad if she was really gone. I noticed that Annabeth might have wanted to join the hunt because she had magazines for it, I wonder what Percy would tell her or think of it. I'm not sure how Dr.Thorn (a teacher that was a monster) came back even though he fell off a cliff, same with Annabeth. I don't really like Thalia, because she thinks she's the best, and better than everyone else, but tries to hide it.

Text to Self- The Maze Runner

           I am reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This book's genre is post-apocalyptic. This book is about a teen named Thomas who came to this mysterious place called the Glades. He does not know where and why he is there. Thomas does not also know anything about his life anymore; he is completely clueless. Now that Thomas has been at the Glades for a while, he now knows there is a large maze with bad things inside. Thomas is not allowed to go inside the maze. However, Thomas said he wants to participate in being a runner.            The character Thomas reminds me of one of my friends because she is very outgoing. Text to Text- The Maze Runner

          I am reading  The Maze Runner by James Dashner.  This story is about a boy named Thomas who was brainwashed and taken to a place called the Glades. Thomas was very curious on running in the maze inside the Glades. When he had the chance, Thomas went into the maze and became a runner. Thomas is starting to put together clues and messages he has found to why he went to the glades in the first place. He is now trying to decode a message that has been created, so he can stop the danger. Thomas and the other runners need to defeat the grievers, and what is happening to their world.           The scene where the ferocious creatures (grievers) come and are trying to break their way into the map room, reminds me of the book The Hunger Games .
