Text to Text - Inkheart

I am still reading the book Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. So far, my recent blog is way out of date, so much more has happened since then. Capricorn got the book and doesn't plan on giving it back, Mo was later caught, and so was Meggie. Dustfinger helped them escape Capricorn's village, and they were on the run a while. They later went to the author of Inkheart, who's name is Fenoglio. While Mo was gone to get Elinor (aunt) Basta came and took Meggie and Fenoglio. While locked in their own little "prison," Meggie reads out loud and Tinker Bell comes out. Capricorn now says that their is no need for Mo. They plan on having Meggie read an "executioner" out of Inkheart for Dustinger's and a maid's execution. But, Dustfinger escaped after locking Basta in a cell.

These actions remind me of a book called, Harry Potter. It reminds me of Harry Potter because, in The Goblet of Fire, Cedric and Harry are sucked into a portkey. Harry had to escape back to Hogwarts before being "executed" you could say, by Voldermort, and so he did. Meggie is kind of like Hermione from Harry Potter also. They have that smart vibe that everyone knows by first sight. Also, both of them are huge readers, more Meggie than Hermione, but, you get the point on that.

I believe that Meggie will end up reading the executioner out of the book, but, it will turn against Capricorn. I think this because, Fengolio wrote the story of the Tin Man, and Meggie was able to send him back, but he change the ending to a happy one. Fenoglio believes if he can write Inkheart again, Meggie can send Capricorn, Basta, Flatnose etc. back to the book world. Which also means, if she reads this version that Fenoglio is making, which he is making the executioner not listen to Capricorn, then it could very well turn against Capricorn and his men.
