Text to text~ Glass Sword

I'm reading Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard. Imagine your world is divided by blood; silver blood and red blood. Silver bloods have abilities while red bloods don't. Your a red blood, but you have abilities. This book is the second book in the series. In the first book the silver kingdom discovered her powers and betrothed her to the kings youngest son(Maven), which was her age. Mare is also being taught to be a proper princess while she is in the kingdom. One of Mare's teacher's, Julian, knows she is not a silver but still teaches her how to use her abilities. Mare and Maven secretly join a terrorist group against the silvers, called the Scarlet Guard. The Scarlet Guard wants the silver kingdom and reds to be even. Mare joins the Scarlet Guard because she thought her brother(Shade) died. But then the king died because Maven and his mother(Elara) killed him, Maven blamed the death on his older brother(Cal). So now everyone believes that Mare and Cal killed the king.  Maven betrayed Mare, Cal and the Scarlet Guard. Now, Mare and Cal are on the run. There both running away from the silver kingdom. While Mare and Cal are on the runrunning they meet up with Maven and his silver army. Then unexpectedly, Shade comes to save them, turning out to not be dead. They then go on a Scarlet Guard train to a place called Tuck, which is a safe place for reds. Where Mare meets up with her family. Cal gets taken by the Colonel, which runs Tuck. Mare and her friend Kilorn break into the headquarters and get Cal. Mare, Cal, Kilorn, Farley(Mare's friend when she first joined the Scarlet Guard) and Shade go on the hunt for newbloods(Mare's blood). They now have gathered newbloods and have gotten a secret place for them all to hide from the silver kingdom. They find out Maven has a prison(Corros prison) where he keeps other newbloods and Mares teacher(Julian). So Mare, Cal, Kilorn, Farley, Shade and other newbloods break into the prison. But when they were escaping Shade got stabbed in the heart by a big metal piece. Mare also killed Queen Elara. They all went to Tuck, and Mare was REALLY sad about her brothers death resulting in her shutting out everyone she loves. She sends a message all over the silver kingdom saying she killed Queen Elara. She goes on another mission with Cal, Kilorn, Farley and a couple newbloods. But in the air the plane crashes, when they are falling she apologizes to everyone and they forgive her. They survive the crash, but the crash was caused by King Maven and his guards. Mare then surrenders herself to Maven to save her friends lives. Then it explains she was in a prison, then got transported out into the capital. And Maven puts a collar around her and makes her kneel.

This book reminds me of the book Wonder. I think this because the book is about the main character being different and trying to fit in. I think Mare and the main character in Wonder(August) are alike because they're both different and aren't ashamed of who they are. They'll live their life different because of their difference.

If I was Mare I would be angry at the Colonel for taking Cal away. I really like this book because it sucks you in in the first page. You just want to continue reading the book to see what happens next and how the characters feel. You get the picture in the book, the author describes the book really well. It fits in many genres which is good for all people.
