Text to Text-The Fault in Our Stars
I am reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. This book is about two teenagers with cancer fall in love and go places together to live life to their fullest ability, while still accepting the fact that they are dying, in the end something is lost. What do you think this is? Hazel and Augustus are together and in love, but their lives are much different than our lives, they both have cancer. They meet at a support group and immediately fall in love. Hazel and Augustus both read and "their book" is An Imperial Infliction. They go to
Amsterdam together and meet the author of their book and he turns out to be very rude. When they get back something is lost and is very sad.
My book is a book that has a lot to do with life and you can learn many lessons from reading it. The book reminds me of Nicholas Sparks books not because the romance in both books but because its about life and what goes on in life and both authors can help you relate so well to things from reading their books. Also it reminds me of Paper Towns the movie because they both are romantic in a way and appeal to the teens. The character Hazel in The Fault in Our Stars reminds me of Margo from Paper Towns because they both are very different than any other girl I've read about or known in my life, the way they talk and look at like is almost more sophisticated than anyone I know.
While reading about Augustus and Hazel in Amsterdam I was wondering how long they would last together and how long their lives will last. I felt bad for them when their favorite author, Peter Van Houten, turned out to be a huge jerk. I was not expecting that at all, he sounded so amazing in the beginning of the book how Hazel described him. I love the way the author of this book showed the love that Hazel and Augustus have for each other and how he used certain words, words that sound sophisticated and gives a mood to the whole book and the character Hazel. If I was Hazel in the situation shes in at the end of the book I would cry a lot and spend all of my time with the person in need. I love this book so much and one hundred percent recommend it.
