Text to Self-Under The Lights

So far, what I have been reading is there is a new girl in the school (Willa), and she s having a hard time fit in because she has done so other bad stuff. She has been abandoned by everyone in her family except her Nonna (her grandma). She has found a couple of her other friends, but they don't remember/know her from the past, but by the end of the chapter they finally find out who she is and where she is from. Then, every boy that she meets, thinks that she is attractive in their own way. Then, the boy that is having trouble is getting attacked by all the girls he went to the party with and saying that he can't have a girlfriend, and all these crazy girls keep following him and fighting over him, but he finally get the gut to tell all the girls that he was drunk when he met all of them and don't like anyone of them and will never want to be seen with neither one of them ever again.
This situation reminds me of a time when I was in a lower grade, and I was the new person and all the girls and boys looked at me like I was there food, nobody was nice to me, but then all of a sudden all the girls  and guys came up to me and asked me all these questions and asked me who I liked, where I was from, and when did I first got to the school. Everyone wanted to sit with me at lunch but, I had made one or two friends that didn't bum-bared me when I first got into class. After awhile, all the people were starting to get on my nerves, so I just told all the people to get away. That story reminded me in the story when, Willa had first got to the school and every person that she used to know started to come up to her and try to be the best man and trying to will her love over, but she had just moved back to the town and she wasn't looking for any relationships because she just got out of trouble and now she is trying to stay as far away from the trouble as possible. When Willa turns down a chance to go to a party it reminds me of when Willa had a flash back to when Willa had gotten a invite to party and get in lots of trouble when she went to the party. So, Willa had moved back to her home town because Willa had gotten in so much trouble at the parties that she had went to, (That is also one of the reasons that Willa had been abandoned). When Willa had a flash back, it reminded he of when she had done bad in her past which made her think of all the bad time and go crazy and had to have her Nonna make sure that she was perfectly okay. This book reminds me of when some people in our school were new and everyone bum-bared them but, they didn't really want to be friend so they kind of strayed away from the popular people and  went to people that were kind of mellow and kinds of less in the attention. After they went with their real/new friends they felt more secure and happy in the new school.
I love the way the book lays out and how much detail the book provides you with because that makes the story a little more interesting. I also love how much drama is in the book because it gives it a bigger plot to the story which makes the story go deeper into the detail and makes the audience want to read more of the book. I was surprised that when she came back to her home town after six years that people from her childhood would still remember her and think of her as her best friend. This story teaches me that even though I might of gotten into some trouble, I can't just hold a grudge forever and at one point I will have to let it go and go one with my life.

  2. The blog was good. Like I said on Tyler's blog, I would've made sure the conventions were all good. The book is very described and I think I might enjoy the book if I were to read it.
