Text to Self- Among the Betrayed
I am reading Among the Betrayed by Margret Peterson Haddix, it is about a society where parents can not have more then two kids. If they do have a third or more kids(also called Shadow kids) and get cough by the Population Police (the police putting the law into work) the child will be killed. The books main character Nina is a third child and was cough by the Population Police. They are using/ torturing her to find stuff out on were more Shadow children are. The guy she liked and kissed, Jason, told the Population Police about her and betrayed her, he was killed by the population Police. The Population Police partnered up with Nina to try to get these three other kids to say they are shadow kids when they are not, the police use her by giving Nina god food and not being so rude and mean to her. One of the guards named Mack was poisoned when Nina was being integrated, he dropped his keys and Nina garbed them and took them, she was trying to get out of her sell and dropped the keys and made a noise and lucky nobody heard it.
The older kid of the three Nina is trying to get to talk, Matthias, reminds me of my parents. This is because Matthias always protects his little sister, Alia, just like a parent. Matthias let Alia have a whole piece of bread and he got a piece and a half. And I could see my parents do the same thing for me and my sister. He also make sure Alia is safe. When they sleep they sleep in a huddle to conserve heat and Alia gets the middle were the heat is to keep her warm in cold weather.
I wish that my author would tell me a little bit more about Jason. I wish that because I want to know if he is a third child and why he would betray Nina. Like how they gave a background for Nina I could understand her more but I'm still a little bit confused about him. I would want to know how he got to the Hendricks School for Boys. It would really just help me in the future of the book they will tell me a little but more about Jason.

It sounds like an interesting book. I might actually read your book next after I finish 11 Birthdays. I would have fixed a little bit of the conventions and fixed a little bit of the spelling but overall it is a really good blog
